Kate Gleave (Lisnagarvey Fireballs)

Kate Gleave has been playing pickleball for around seven years, even before Lisburn Pickleball Club came about! Coming from a background of badminton and a little bit of tennis, switching to pickleball opened up a whole new wonderful world.  Kate competed in the first ever Irish Pickleball Championships in 2017 winning the Ladies Doubles and also competed in the 2017 UK Championships in Kent, winning bronze in the Ladies Singles.

In the 2018 Irish Open Kate was winner of the Ladies Doubles and later that year played in the 2018 Dutch Open. In the 2019 Scottish Open Kate won Silver in the Ladies Singles and Bronze in the Ladies Doubles. In the 2019 English Open Kate won Gold in the Ladies Doubles and Silver in the Ladies Singles.
