May Taggert (Lagan Dynamos)

Bayarmaa (May) may be from Mongolia, but she has been formally adopted as a Norn Irish woman! Living in Lisburn for 10 years with her husband John and daughters Anuka and Namona, May has been a regular at club sessions and tournaments since the sport first appeared in the city. Her background is Volleyball and Golf. Her accolades in Pickleball are almost too numerous to list, but we will give it go anyhow: -Womens’ Doubles 3.0 Winner 2016 with Partner Julie Nicol Irish National Championship. Womens’ Double 3.5 Silver Medalist (19+) with partner Jana Meier at the Spanish Open Pickleball Championship 2019. Womens’ Double 3.5 Bronze Medalist, Scottish Open Pickleball Championship 2019 with partner Kate Gleave. Mixed Double 3.5  Winner 2023 Irish Nationals with partner Simon O’Neill. Womens’ Double and Mixed Double Winner Pickleball Fiesta 2023 with              partners Nicki Wilson and Gavin Noble. Both of whom feature with her on the Lagan Dynamos team.
