Season 1 of 2024 will feature 7 teams from Northern Ireland, competing to become regional champions and ultimately – the first ever Emerald Isle Pickleball champions. 

The Northern Region is structured slightly different as the Lisburn Leisureplex will be used to host every match as teams travel from near and far.
On each game nights (15 in total) – a team will play 2 matches. These ‘matches’ comprise of 4 games – 2 mixed doubles, 1 female doubles and 1 males doubles.
Should the score be tied at 2-2 at the end of the fourth game – the teams will compete in a ‘Doubles Tiebreaker’. Each player will play for 4 points as their teammates and opponents change. 

Every team in the Northern Region will play 18 matches throughout the season, with the top two progressing to the All-Ireland finals in May.
